Earleen Offutt Crume, 71, New Haven
Earleen Offutt Crume, 71, of New Haven, died Friday, July 20, 2012, at her residence. She was the former Earleen Rummage, a native of Jefferson County, a graduate of Old Kentucky Home High School, and a retired employee of Barton Brands LTD with 47 years of service. She was a member of the New Salem Baptist Church, an avid UK fan, a dedicated mother and friend who was well known for her generosity.
She was the daughter of the late Woodrow Wilson and Esta May Fulkerson Rummage, and was preceded in death by her first husband, Jerry Offutt.
Survivors include three daughters, Crystal Reed and her husband Jimmy Reed, both of Bardstown, Kim Patton of Lexington, and Tracey Baker of New Haven; one son, Jamie Crume of New Haven; one sister, Ann Daughtery and her husband Billy Daughtery, both of Lexington; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a special companion, Frankie Clark of New Haven.
Cremation was chosen by the family with no services or visitation. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contribution to Hospice of Nelson County.
The Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
