Police, firefighters, EMS called to Sutherland Road area suicide

Tuesday, July 24, 2012, 9 a.m. — City police, EMS and the Bardstown Fire Department were called to the area of Sutherland Road and Beechfork Trail for a suicide victim found by an EMS squad at 7:38 Tuesday morning. Traffic on Sutherland Road was shut down while police and the Nelson County coroner conducted their investigations. First-responders were on scene for about an hour.
