Police, Nelson County EMS called for intentional overdose victim

Wednesday, July 25, 2012, 2 a.m. — Police and Nelson County EMS were called Wednesday morning to the area of Valleyview Drive for a report of a 25-year-old man who was believed to have intentionally overdosed on prescription medications. Police found the man outside the home and walking along Valleyview Drive. The individual reportedly took approximately 50 pills believed to be ADHD medications. He was taken to Flaget Memorial Hospital for treatment. Police received the call at about 1:20 a.m.
