Opinion: Despite the pace of our busy lives, our loved ones deserve our time

Wednesday, July 26, 2012 – Are you too busy to take time to read this column? We all live in a rush and have a busy lifestyle these days. Do we really have to live this way?

We somehow find time for the things we like to do — so why can’t we make time for the loved ones in our lives? As we go through life, we can forget what is important. As we get older, we finally learn the important things. Sometimes we learn it too late.

I’m sure if we all try, we can find a way to spend time with the loved ones in our lives. Just remember that following Jesus, our loved ones are the next to be loved and treasured very moment they are with us.

I encourage you to spend time with those you love. One day you will find yourself saying either “I wish I had” or “I’m glad I did.”
