Firefighters called for tree fire caused by lightning on Surge Lane
Thursday, July 26, 2012, 11:30 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department responded to the area of Surge Lane off Poplar Flat road for a tree that was struck by lightning and was burning. The call came in about 10:55 Thursday night. Firefighters extinguished the fire and were on the scene for about 30 minutes.
