Bardstown firefighters respond to active fire alarm at McLean House
Sunday, July 29, 2012, 3:05 a.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department responded to the McLean House, 105 E. Stephen Foster, for an active fire alarm called in by an apartment resident at 1:45 a.m. Sunday. Firefighers investigated the alarm but were unable to determine why the alarm remained active. Attempts to contact the building owner and the alarm company where unsuccessful. Firefighters advised the resident would contact the building owner to have the system repaired. Firefighters were on scene for an hour and 15 minutes.
