Dallas Ray Armstrong, 51, Bardstown

Dallas Ray Armstrong, 51, of Bardstown, died Thursday, August 2, 2012, at his residence. He was born Feb. 11, 1961. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp and a member of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Armstrong; a son, Matthew Dillon Armstrong; a brother, Robbie Armstrong; his maternal grandfather, Lorane Peavler; and his paternal grandparents, Oscar and Nellie Gunther Armstrong.

Survivors include his mother, Marilyn Peavler of Bardstown; one brother, Shannon Gritton of Barstown; his maternal grandmother, Rachel Peavler of Bardstown; two sisters, Kim Rogers of High Grove and Dana Ashley of Bloomfield; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Cremation was chosen with no services.

Clark and Houghlin Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
