Teen-ager struck by car near Second and Stephen Foster Avenue

Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011, 11:40 p.m. — An 18-year-old woman on foot was struck by a passing vehicle near the intersection of Second and East Stephen Foster Avenue about 11:15 Saturday night. The woman was believed to have a broken leg and wrist, with assorted minor scuffs and abrasions. She was taken to the ER at Flaget Memorial Hospital by Nelson County EMS for treatment. The Bardstown police department investigated the accident.
