TIMMY CECIL

Timmy Cecil, 48, of Louisville, died Monday, Aug. 20, 2012, in Louisville. He was born Oct. 31, 1963, in Louisville. He was an employee of A Better Built Construction Co., and of the Catholic faith.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Karen McGuire; paternal grandparents, Earl and Agnes Cecil; and maternal grandparents, Al and Katherine Matejka.

He is survived by three children, Robbie Cecil, Wendy Cecil, and Daniel Cecil all of Louisville; his father and stepmother, Robert Earl “Bobby” Cecil and Mary Cecil of Bardstown; one brother, Mike Matejka of Ogden, Utah; five sisters, Kathie Barnes of New York, Tamara Metcalf and her husband Glenn, Vickie Bryan and her husband Anthony, Kim Cecil and her husband Tim, and Susie Martin and her husband Kevin, all of Bardstown; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in Bardstown Cemetery. The Rev. Ben Brown will officiate.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, 2012, and 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may go toward the funeral service of Timmy Cecil.
