Firefighters battling house fire in 4600 block of Louisville Road

Wednesday, March 2, 2011, 1 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department is fighting a house fire at 4655 Louisville Road at this hour. The American Red Cross and Nelson County EMS are on scene as well. Use caution if driving through the area of Louisville Road from Sullivan Lane to the Gypsy Drive In.

2:15 p.m. — Firefighters have the fire under control and are continuing to extinguishing hot spots.
