12-year-old taken to hospital after possible injury during football game
Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012 — A 12-year-old boy was injured during a football game Sunday afternoon at Dean Watts Park. Nelson County EMS was dispatched for a juvenile with a possible back injury just before 3 p.m. Bystanders told EMTs the boy may have overextended his back during game play. The boy was transported to Flaget Memorial Hospital for treatment.
