Police, EMS respond to reported self-inflicted gunshot wound
Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, 1 p.m. — Bardstown Police, Nelson County EMS and the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office were called to the area of Jefferson Avenue Thursday morning about 11:50 for a report of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. After determining the victim was deceased, the Nelson County coroner and a police chaplain were dispatched to respond to the scene.
