1 injured when vehicle overturns on US31E south of High Grove

Monday, Sept. 24, 2012, 1:10 p.m. — One person was injured Monday about noon when their vehicle ran off the road and overturned in a ditch in the 11500 block of Louisville Road south of High Grove. Nelson County EMS responded and the Bardstown Fire Department were sent to the scene as the vehicle was reportedly smoking. Firefighters determined there was no fire hazard. The occupants had exited the vehicle by the time first responders arrived. EMS transported one person from the scene to Hardin Memorial Hospital.
