2 injured in 3-car pileup at East John Rowan and Salem Drive

Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, 2 a.m. — Two people were injured in a three-vehicle accident Thursday evening about 5:40 near the intersection of East John Rowan and Salem Drive. A 90-year-old man, who suffered a knee injury, and his 87-year-old wife, complaining of abrasions on her right arm and right leg numbness, were transported by Nelson County EMS to Flaget Memorial Hospital for treatment.
