Anne Williams Johnson, 94, Bardstown

Anne Williams Johnson, 94, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, at Colonial Health and Rehab in Bardstown. She was the former Anne Williams and a former plant manager clerk for 32 years at South Central Bell. She was a member of St. Joseph Parish where she served on the Altar Society and was a member of Blue Army, Queens Daughters’ and the Telephone Pioneers of America.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Morgan Johnson; her parents, John H. and Elizabeth Miles Williams; two sisters, Catherine McGruder and Julia Roberson; and one brother, John Williams Jr.

Survivors include her nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Bill Hammer will officiate.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, and 8:30-10 a.m. Saturday at Clark and Houghlin Funeral Home. A prayer service will be Friday evening at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Nelson County, 202 W. Stephen Foster Suite A, Bardstown, KY., 40004, and Mass of the Air, 508 Breckenridge Ln., Louisville, Ky. 40207.
