James Tyrone Back, 45, New Haven

James Tyrone Back, 45, of New Haven, died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at his home in New Haven. He was a member of the Baptist faith and was disabled. He was born April 20, 1967, in Dayton, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 15 years, Mary Helen Hartless Back; and one brother, Dallas LaWayne Back.

Survivors include his father and stepmother, James “Jim” Back and his wife Jeannie, both of New Haven; his mother, Beverly Evans Back of Tacoma, Wash.; one brother, Chad Allen Back and his wife Aleesha Back of North Bend; two stepbrothers, Bill Dirr and his wife Amy, both of Chester, Va., and Mike Kelley and his wife Tracy, both of New Haven; one stepsister, Ursula Kelley of Rochester, Ind.; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The funeral is 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, at the William R. Rust Funeral Home chapel, 167 N. Main St., New Haven, with the Rev. Bruce Nichols, pastor of Rolling Fork Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Marshall family cemetery in New Haven.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, and 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, at the funeral home.

The William R. Rust Funeral Home in New Haven is in charge of arrangements.
