1 injured, 1 arrested after woman injured in early morning altercation

Oct. 7, 2012, 11:30 a.m. — A woman in her early 30s was injured as the result of an altercation with another person early Sunday morning. Bardstown Police were called to Old Kentuckky Home Motel, 414 W. Stephen Foster Ave., at about 3:30 Sunday morning for a report of a disturbance said to involve two males and a woman with a child. The suspects in the altercation were reportedly in a silver vehicle, which later returned to the hotel. Police arrested a male suspect believed to be involved in the altercation. The man was lodged in the Nelson County Jail. The woman was taken to Flaget Memorial Hospital for treatment of her injuries which included a laceration to her head.
