Carolyn Breeden Trent, 70, Fairfield
Carolyn Breeden Trent, 70, of Fairfield, died Saturday Oct. 13, 2012 at University Hospital in Louisville. She was born July 2, 1942, in Nelson County. She was a retired deputy clerk for Nelson County Clerk’s office, and a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Mildred Breeden; and brother, Hubert Russell Breeden Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Tommy Trent of Fairfield; two sons, Ronald Trent and his wife Missy, and Bryan “Boo” Trent and his wife Karen, all of Bloomfield; one daughter, Verneasa Hendricks and her husband John, both of Bloomfield; five brothers, Buddy Breeden, Bill Breeden and his wife Doris, all of Bardstown, Gary Wayne Breeden and his wife Marlene, and John Breeden, all of Cox’s Creek, and Ivo Mudd Sr. and his wife Mary Lou, both of Bardstown; four sisters, Sissy Goodpaster, Millie Bowman and her husband Gary, Peggy Borland, and Debbie Ingram and her husband William “Bees”, all of Cox’s Creek; seven grandchildren, Amanda Burba and her husband Chad, Dustin Trent, Dean Hendricks, Houston Hendricks, Garrett Hendricks, Ryan “Bear” Trent, and Daniel “Dee” Trent; and one great-granddaughter, Hannah Marie Burba.
A Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Fairfield with burial in Highland Memory Gardens, Mount Washington. The Rev. Bill Hammer will officiate.
Visitation is 1-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, and 8-9:15 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012 at Barlow Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may go to St. Michael’s Catholic Church Building Fund or The American Cancer Society.
