Council candidates Royalty, Simpson guests today on ‘Brooks & Co.’

Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, 11:45 p.m. — Former Bardstown City Councilman John Royalty and incumbent Councilman Bobby Simpson will be guests today from 11 to noon on WBRT’s “Bro0ks & Company” program on AM 1320 and 97.1 FM.

Two years ago, then-councilman Royalty narrowly lost the race for Bardstown mayor, and he has filed to regain his seat on the council. Simpson has been on the council several terms and is seeking re-election.

Both men will be on the radio today to discuss their campaigns and their ideas about Bardstown’s future needs. Tune in live, 11-noon on AM 1320, FM 97.1 or live streaming via Nelson County Gazette or www.WBRTCountry.com. The videotape of the program will air on BRTV, Bardstown Cable Channel 19 later Tuesday evening.
