Rev. John Christopher Allegra, pastor of Holy Trinity and Holy Rosary, dies at 70

REV. JOHN CHRISTOPHER ALLEGRA

The Rev. John Christopher Allegra, 70, pastor of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fredericktown and Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Manton, died at Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.

Survivors include a brother, Frank Allegra and his wife Mary, both of Philadelphia; one neice, Jennifer Allegra Adams of Philadelphia; and one nephew, Christopher Allegra of Philadelphia.

The Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fredericktown with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2012, and 7-11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, 2012, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fredericktown. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Contributions are suggested to Holy Trinity or Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Manton.

Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home in Springfield is in charge of arrangements.
