Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012 — Bardstown Police arrested a Bardstown man who admitted to spray painting anti-Christian graffitti at the First Baptist Church, 315 North Second St. in Bardstown.

The Oct. 9th incident left a variety of anti-Christian words and phrases painted on the sides of the building and on one side of the church’s passenger van. Working on an anonymous tip, police questioned Aaron D. Hornback, 20, about the incident. Hornback admitted to police he was intoxicated and under the influence of prescription drugs at the time. He told police he was not anti-Christian and expressed remorse for the incident.

Hornback was arrested at 12:23 Thursday and charged with second-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor.
