Bretia Mae Stumbaugh, 88, Nazareth Village,

Bretia Mae Stumbaugh, 88, a resident of Nazareth Village, died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at Life Care Center of Bardstown. She was the former Bretia Mae Ennis, a native of Canmer, a retired sales clerk, and a member of the Bardstown Baptist Church.

She was the daughter of the late Voyage and Mary Hodge Ennis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Stumbaugh; one brother, Jack Ennis; and one grandson, Jonathan Sandidge.

She is survived by three daughters, Janeen Moberley and her husband Roger, both of Cape Coral, Fla., Portia Marksbury and her husband Tommy, both of Cox’s Creek, Claudia Ayers of Parkersburg, W.Va.; two sons, the Rev. Ronald Sandidge and his wife Jean, both of Vevay, Ind., Eric Stumbaugh and his wife Donna, both of Oro Valley, Ariz.; one sister, Margie Dalton of Scottsville; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Cremation was chosen by the family, with a memorial service 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at Bardstown Baptist Church with Bro. Dylan Mays officiating.

Visitation is noon-1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at Bardstown Baptist Church.

The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contribution to the Bardstown Baptist Church.

The Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
