WANDA PENNINGTON

Wanda Pennington, 69, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, at Flaget Memorial Hospital. She was born Aug. 29, 1943, in Nelson County. She was retired from Wal-Mart, and was a member of The First Cedar Creek Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Clifford Pennington.

She is survived by her son, Ron Pennington and his wife Diana, both of Bardstown; daughter, Debbie Puckett and her husband Bill, both of Hodgenville; one brother, Bill Taylor and his wife Mona, both of Bardstown; and three grandchildren, Jessica Pennington, Heather Smith, and Alexis Puckett.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery in Bloomfield. Pastor Tim Lucas will officiate.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, and 9-11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
