Thelma Mae Humphrey, 70, Louisville
Thelma Mae Humphrey, 70, of Louisville, died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at Baptist Hospital East in Louisville. She was born Oct. 15, 1942, in Cave City. She was a retired bus driver for Jefferson County after serving over 25 years. She was a strong supporter of breast cancer awareness, a member of the Minors Lane Baptist Church and an avid Bingo and Bunko player.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hobert Humphrey; her parents, Herman and Christina Keithly Doyle; and one sister, Janie Charles.
Survivors include three sons, Hobie Humphrey of Carrollton, Joseph Humphrey and Michael Humphrey, both of Louisville; two daughters, Cynthia Humphrey of Louisville, and Julie Cundiff of Tennessee; four sisters; three brothers; nine grandchildren, Natasha Culver, Nicole Sullivan, Hobert Humphrey IV, Evelyn Humphrey, Jerimiah Humphrey, Brandon Humphrey, Leslie Humphrey, David Humphrey and Samantha Humphrey; and six great-grandchildren.
The Funeral is 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at Clark and Houghlin Funeral Home and Cremation Services with burial in the Bardstown Cemetery. The Rev. Karl Lusk will officiate.
Visitation is 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at Clark and Houghlin Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
