Thelma Rhae Livers, 90, Bardstown
Thelma Rhae Livers, 90, of Bardstown, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at Colonial Health and Rehab. She was the former Thelma Rhae Mattingly born Sept. 7, 1921, in Nelson County. She was a homemaker and a long time dental assistant to Dr. John Oakley. She was a member of Eastern Star Order #436 and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Danny Livers and James Livers; her parents, Samuel and Grace Moore Mattingly; and two brothers, Sammie Mattingly and Billie Mattingly.
She is survived by her son, Ronald “Ron” Lyvers and his wife Nancy, both of Lexington; one daughter, Judy Beers of Frankfort; two daughter-in-laws, Sheila Lyvers of Bardstown and Sue Livers; one sister-in-law, Jean Mattingly of Bardstown; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation was chosen and a private service will be held at a later date.
