James Floyd “Jimbo” Jones, 49, Bardstown

James Floyd “Jimbo” Jones, 49, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, at University Hospital in Louisville. He was born May 24, 1963, in Asheville, N.C., and was employed as a construction worker. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting for arrowheads and spending time with his friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Linda Allie Newsome Jones, and an infant sister, Katherine Kay Jones.

He is survived by two sons, Jeremy Jones and Brandon Jones, both of Leitchfield; two brothers, Donnie Jones and Mike Jones, both of Bardstown; three sisters, Sue Jones of Springfield, Sharon Jones of Leitchfield and Lillie “Nin” Quartermouse of Shepherdsville; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at Clark and Houghlin Funeral Home with burial in the Bardstown Cemetery. The Rev. Tim Lucas will officiate.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, and 8:30-11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at Clark and Houghlin Funeral Home.
