Bloomfield woman injured when car struck from rear by loaded semi

Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, 11 a.m. — A 19-year-old Bloomfield woman suffered minor injuries Monday morning when the Toyota Camry she was driving was struck from the rear by a fully loaded tanker tractor-trailer rig near the Bloomfield exit of the Bluegrass Parkway. Police and EMS were dispatched to the westbound lanes at the 34 mile maker at 9:49 Monday morning. The woman was taken to Flaget Memorial Hospital complaining of neck pain and a facial laceration.
