Firefighters called to Piper Drive home for smoke investigation
Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, 1:40 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department responded to a home in the 300 block of Piper Drive after the resident reported smoke in the residence. The call for firefighters came in about 12:52 Saturday afternoon. Firefighters arrived and found the smoke was actually steam created by a leaking water heater. Firefighters cleared the scene at 1:10 p.m.
