Out-of-control student prompts officer’s response to Boston School

Friday, March 11, 2011, 7:23 p.m. — A deputy with the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office was called to the Boston School for a report of a student who was out of control. The school reported that a student struck a teacher at the school. The child’s parents arrived at the school prior to the arrival of the officer, who requested the parents and child stay at the school until he arrived. The incident happened about 3:15 Friday afternoon.
