Michael D. Mohin, 72, Loretto

Michael D. Mohin, 72, of Loretto, died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at his residence. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam Conflict and formerly worked as a farmer.

He was born Nov. 16, 1940, in New York to the late Joseph and Mary Mohin. He was also preceded in death by his son, Bryan Andrus Mohin.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Marcia Andrus Mohin of Loretto; three sons, Michael Mohin and Adam Mohin, both of Loretto and Joe Mohin of Russell Springs; two sisters, Jean Hamilton and Rita Igo, both of South Carolina; two brothers, Bill Mohin of Florida and Brian Mohin of New York; and one granddaughter, Lidia.

The funeral was 7 p.m. Friday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto. The Sisters of Loretto officiated.
