Marilyn Alice Clark Elmore, 68, Louisville, formerly of New Hope

Marilyn Alice Clark Elmore, 68, of Louisville, formerly of New Hope, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at her home in Louisville. She had been fighting a long term illness for 2 years. She was born Sept. 29, 1944, in New Hope. She graduated from St. Catherine High School in 1962 and was married on Sept. 7, 1963.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Rose Clark; six brothers, Howard, Charlie, Manuel, Paul, John, and Steve Clark; and one sister, Margaret Jean Settles.

She is survived by her husband, Francis Estel Elmore; one daughter, Lisa Ann Davies; one brother, Francis Estel Elmore Jr.; two brothers, Joseph Clark and Robert Clark; two sisters, Jo Ann Miles and Betty Bowling; two grandchildren, Megan Rose Hardin, and Aleisha Nicole Helton; and one great-grandchild, Camron Lee Hardin.

Her funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in New Hope with burial in in the church cemetery. The Rev. Kenneth R. Fortener will officiate.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, and 9-10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at Barlow Funeral Home. A prayer service will be 6 p.m. Thursday.
