Mildred Miller Troutman, 91, Bardstown

Mildred Miller Troutman, 91, of Bardstown, died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at Flaget Memorial Hospital. She was born July 2, 1921, in Nelson County. She was retired from Barton’s Distillery and was a member of Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles William Miller and her second husband, Ivo Troutman; one daughter-in-law, Alice Miller; and a granddaughter, Charlotte Haydon.

She is survived by two daughters, Sara Clements and her husband Jack, both of Bardstown, and Linda Lawrence and her husband Sam, both of Edgewood; two sons, Charles Lee Miller, and Pat Miller and his wife Debbie, all of Bardstown; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The funeral is 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. David Carr will officiate.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, and 8-9:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at Barlow Funeral Home.
