Anna Lee Goode, 87, of Nazareth, formerly of Louisville, died Cristmas Day, Dec. 25, 2012, in Louisville. She was born Oct. 8, 1925, in Hendricks County, Ind., and was raised in Casey County in Clementsville. She was the daughter of the late Joe Goode and Kathleen Wethington Goode. She was raised by her grandparents, the late Aiice and Owen Wethington. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church and later resided in Nazareth, Ky. She was a professional caregiver most of her life.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, Leland Goode, Preston Wethington, Dave Wethington, Bill Wethington and Gene Wethington; and four sisters Verna, Virgie, Josephine and Ann.
She is survived by several loving nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at St. Bernard Catholic Church with the Rev. Patrick Dolan officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation was Friday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home in Louisville.
Pallbearers will be Travis, John, and Tom Wethington, Jim Goode, John Clements, and Brian Peake.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
