NANCY LILLIAN O’BRYAN THORNSBERRY

Nancy Lillian O’Bryan Thornsberry, 84, of Shepherdsville died Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, in Louisville. She was born and raised in the New Haven area by her late parents, Francis Albern and Gertrude Louise Hagan O’Bryan. She was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Mt. Washington.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Miles “Frankie” Thornsberry; and four brothers, T.J. O’Bryan, Robert O’Bryan, Frank O’Bryan and Leo O’Bryan.

Survivors include three daughters; Estelle McCubbins and her husband Mike, and Marlene McMahan, all of Shepherdsville, and Brenda Saylor of Granger, Ind.; three sons, Gary Thornsberry and his wife Julie, both of Taylorsville, Eddie Thornsberry and his wife Missy, and Kevin Thornsberry, all of Mount Washington;
11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The Funeral Mass was 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012 at Immaculate Conception Church in Culvertown, with the Rev. Troy Overton officiating. Burial was in the St. Thomas Cemetery, in Bardstown.
