Bardstown firefighters respond to roof fire at American Fuji Seal

Wednesday, Jan 2, 2013, 2:15 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department responded Wednesday afternoon to American Fuji Seal for a fire reported in the printing area. A firefighter on scene called the fire in and firefighters were instructed to respond to the rear of the building. One crew entered the building and a second ascended to its roof.  Firefighters used a thermal imaging camera to locate hotspots, which were isolated to the roof over the printing area. Contractors were working on the roof over the area. The fire was extinguished and cleared the area at 3:06 p.m.
