NANCY PUGH

Nancy Pugh, 69, of Bardstown, died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at Flaget Memorial Hospital. She was born Jan. 1, 1944, in Laona, Wisc. She was a self-employed caregiver, a volunteer for Nelcasa and a member of the Lutheran faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Verlin and Nellie Starks.

She is survived by one daughter, Lysa Drake and her husband Terry, both of Bardstown; two sons, Bryon Pugh of Willow, Alaska and Terry Joe Pugh and his wife Tanya, both of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; her stepmother, Dorothy Starks of Laona, Wisc.;
three sisters; four grandchildren, T.C. (Kayla) Drake and his wife Kayla, Samantha Drake, Cierra Drake, and Aliyah Drake; two stepgrandchildren, Jessica Teich and Ben Teich; one great-grandson, Cambron Drake; and three friends, Joann Boone, Amanda King and Steve Vittitow and their children, Kolby and Noah.

The funeral is 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, at Barlow Funeral Home in Bardstown with burial in the New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Bruce Nichols will officiate.

Visitation is noon-2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may go to Nelcasa or Hospice of Nelson County.
