Pat Davis, 66, Bardstown

Pat Davis, 66, of Bardstown, died Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at Baptist Hospital East. He was born August 15, 1946, in New Haven. He was retired from General Electric, and a member of Masonic Duvall Lodge # 6, St. Joseph Catholic Church and a Kentucky Colonel.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Henry and Mary Ruth Moore Davis; three brothers, John Edward Davis, Charles Thomas Davis and John Henry Davis II; and one sister, Nancianna Davis.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Simpson Davis of Bardstown; his aunt who raised him, Marie Davis of Bardstown; one sister, Martha Abel III and her husband, Joe Paul, both of Lebanon; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. David Carr will be officiating and Dr. Peter “Rick” Loader with a prayer at graveside.

Visitation is noon-8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, and 9-10:15 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at Barlow Funeral Home with a prayer service 6 p.m. Sunday.

Memorial Contributions may go to First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) or the Salvation Army.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
