Stephen Joseph ‘Steve’ Reid, 48, New Haven

Stephen Joseph “Steve” Reid, 48, of New Haven died suddenly at his residence on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013. He was raised in Louisville where he graduated from St. Xavier High School. He was a Catholic by faith.

Survivors include his wife, Melissa Reid of New Haven; his parents, Fred and Millicent Reid of Louisville; one sister, Linda Reid Knox and her husband Bill, both of New Haven; and one brother, Jim Reid and his wife, Joy, both of Frankfort.

A Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in New Hope with the Rev. Ken Fortener officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, and 9-10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home with a Rosary service at 7 p.m. Friday evening.
