Anthony Ray ‘Arthur’ Holt, 72, formerly of Nazareth Vilalge

Anthony Ray “Arthur” Holt, 72, formerly of Nazareth Vilalge, died Sunday Jan. 13, 2013, at Baptist Hospital East in Louisville. He was a native of Nelson County and a retired farmer who had previously worked doing upholstery and automotive body work and paint. He was a member of Little Union Baptist Church.

He was the son of the late Robert and Gladys Thomas Conder Holt and was preceded in death by three sisters, Sharon Thompson, Judy Martin, and Alice Scott; one one brother, Bobby Holt.

Survivors include one daughter, Angela Bond and her husband Ronald, both of West Palm Beach Florida; four sons, Stephen Holt, Anthony W. Holt, Challon Holt and his wife Tiffany, all of Louisville, and Christopher Scott Holt and his wife Delana, both of West Palm Beach, Fla.; two sisters, Betty Mattingly and Eva Breeding and her husband Jack, all of Bardstown; one brother, Donnie Holt of Bardstown; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The funeral is 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Bro. Will Sipes officiating. Burial is in Highview Cemetery in Chaplin.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

The Houghlin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
