Firefighters investigate alarm at Barton Brands’ distribution center

fireshieldTuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, 1 a.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was called out just before midnight Monday to Barton Brands’ distribution center, 1010 Withrow Court, for an activated fire alarm. There was no fire when firefighters arrived. After investigating a cause, it was determined the alarm was triggered by a sprinkler system problem. The building security were informed and advised to contact the alarm company for repairs. Firefighters were on scene for about 20 minutes.
