Pauline White, 71, Bloomfield

Pauline White, 71, of Bloomfield, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013 at her home. She was the former Pauline Drury and a native of Anderson County. She was a former employee at International Paper and White’s Grocery. She was a charter member of the Lawrenceburg Community Baptist Church and a member of the Gideons International Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Marey Grider Drury; two brothers, Alvin Drury and Wilmer “Slick” Drury; three sisters Eva Mae Drury, Beulah Drury and Eula Drury.

She is survived by her husband, James E. “Buddy” White; one daughter, Jana Terrell and her husband Lamont, both of Lawrenceburg; one son, Jimmy White and his wife Tina, both of Bloomfield; five sisters, Juanita Freeman, Bonnie Casey, Marie Spaulding, Donna (Eunice) Satterly and Jean Sea and her husband Darrell, all of Lawrenceburg; one brother, Ernie Drury and his wife Brenda, both of Lawrencburg; one sister-in-law, Nellie Drury of Lawrenceburg; and two grandchildren, Caleb White and Lance Terrell.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with burial in Highview Cemetery in Chaplin. Bro. Steve Broughton will officiate.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at the funeral home.

The family requests expression of sympathy take the form of contributions to Hospice of Nelson Co or Gideons International.

The Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
