EUNICE ‘EUN’ SEIBERT

Eunice “Eun” Seibert, 90, of Bardstown, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, at Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown. She was born Sept. 27, 1922, in Springfield. She was a homemaker, a member of St. Joseph Church and its Bereavement Committee, and the Genealogical Society. She attended St. Catharine’s College and was active in their alumni programs.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, Jack Seibert; her parents, James Floyd and Bertha Agnes Graves Lanham; four brothers, Scott Lanham, A.D. Lanham, Roland Lanham and infant Robbie Lanham; and two sisters, Rita Redman and Annie Mae Clarkson Smith.

She is survived by one son, Michael Seibert and his wife Melva, both of Bardstown; one daughter, Lisa Prescott and her husband Doug, both of Bardstown; two grandchildren, Jack Prescott and Anna Prescott; and several nieces and nephews.

The Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. William Hammer will officiate.

Visitation is 1-7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, and 8:30-11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at Clark and Houghlin Funeral Home. A prayer service is 6 p.m. Sunday by Deacon John Hamilton.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Church or St. Joseph Elementary School.

Clark and Houghlin Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of the arrangements.
