Driver declines treatment, transport by EMS after crash on the BG

Friday, March 18, 2011, 11 p.m. — Nelson County EMS and the Northeast Nelson Fire Department responded Friday morning to the 38 mile marker westbound on the Blue Grass Parkway for a reported one-car injury accident with entrapment. Police at the scene reported the driver was the sole occupant and there was no entrapment. Firefighters stayed at the scene to clean up spilled fluids from the crash. The driver refused treatment and transport by EMS. The accident happened at about 10:15 Friday morning. The Nelson County Sheriff’s Office and Kentucky State Police investigated the accident.
