DONALD RAY ‘DONNIE’ CROSS
Donald Ray “Donnie” Cross, 63, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at his home. He was born May 8, 1949, in Nelson County amd was a 1967 graduate of Old Kentucky Home High School. He was retired from General Electric. He was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church and an avid horseman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis Allen and Mary Thelma Clark Cross.
Survivors include one daughter, Cheryl Ann Cross of Bardstown; one son, Francis Allen Cross and his wife Jeri, both of Cox’s Creek; the mother of his children, Margie Cross of Bardstown; five sisters, Judy Cissell and her husband John, Patsy Taylor, B.J. Enlow and her husband Robert, Sandy Leake and her husband Steve, and Becky Judson, all of Bardstown; two brothers, Jimmy Cross and his wife Jane, and Allen Wayne Cross and his wife Marlene, all of Bardstown; three grandchildren, Dillon Greenwell, Jordan Cross and Logan Cross; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial is 1:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at St. Thomas Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Ben Brown will be the celebrant.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21. 2013, at Clark and Houghlin Funeral Home with a prayer service at 4 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Thomas Church.
Clark and Houghlin Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of the arrangements.
