Marty Watts Keeling, 50, Bardstown

Marty Watts Keeling, 50, of Bardstown, died Friday, March 1, 2013, at Baptist Hospital East. She was born November 12, 1962 in Bardstown. She was a nurse for Beverly Health and Rehab, Member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, member of H.O.S.A., member of W.K.U. Ducks Unlimited.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Matthew Keeling and Joey Keeling; her parents, James and Barbara Watts; one sister, Madeline Jean Watts; her maternal grandparents, Jesse and Madeline Roberts; and her paternal grandparents, Earl and Nellie Watts.

She is survived by her husband, Ron Keeling; one daughter, Sara Vittitow and her husband Travis, both of Bardstown; two sisters; Debora Blandford and Angela Watts, both of Bardstown; two brothers, James “Bo” Watts and his wife Debbie, and Dean Watts and his wife Katy, all of Bardstown; one granddaughter, Ashtyn Vittitow of Bardstown; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, March 4, 2013, at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral with burial in Holy Cross Cemetery. The Rev. Bill Hammer will officiate.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2013, and 9-10:15 a.m. Monday, March 4, 2013, at Barlow Funeral Home.

Memorial Contributions may go to American Heart Association, the St. Joseph Building Fund and the scholarship fund for Joey Keeling.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
