Firefighters called for heavy smoke in Lutheran Church Rd area

Monday, March 4, 2013, 12:40 a.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was called to the area of Lutheran Church Road Sunday evening about 9:20 for a report of smoke in the area. Firefighters found a controlled burn underway in the 1800 block of Lutheran Church Road. The resident was advised to report future controlled burns. The response was canceled and fire units returned to station.
