FLORENCE SCHAUB

Florence Schaub, 89, of Bardstown, died Monday, March 4, 2013, at Windsor Gardens. She was born Dec. 6, 1923, in Brooklyn, N.Y., She was a homemaker, a member of the Lutheran faith, and enjoyed crocheting.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Dorothy Hemmer Haun; and one sister, Margaret Bauer.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Charlie Schaub; one daughter, Susan Boyd and her husband Michael, both of Bardstown; one son, Charles W. Schaub and his wife Margaret, both of Pennington, N.J.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren (who affectionately called her GiGi).

Cremation was chosen by the family with no services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Clark and Houghlin Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of the arrangements.
