Raymond Nelson “Ray” Simmons Jr., 49, Bardstown

Raymond Nelson “Ray” Simmons Jr., 49, of Bardstown, died Sunday, March 3, 2013, at Norton Hospital in Louisville. He was born April 4, 1963, in Louisville. He was a tech support employee for AT&T, and a member of Abundant Life Church of Lebanon.

He was preceded in death by his father Raymond Nelson Simmons Sr.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Simmons of Bardstown; two sons, Nathan Simmons of Richmond, and Matthew Simmons of Bardstown; his mother, Fay Simmons of Brandenburg; three sisters, Dianna (Ron) Henriott of Eastview, Laura (James) Withrow of Irvington, and Susan (William) Hatfield of Guston; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at Barlow Funeral Home in Bardstown with burial in Cap Anderson Cemetery in Brandenburg. Pastor Neal Gordon will officiate.

Visitation is 3–8 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2013, and 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may go to Abundant Life Church of Lebanon, Youth and Missions.
