Joseph Leon Fogle, 73, of Bardstown

Joseph Leon Fogle, 73, of Bardstown, died Thursday, March 14, 2013, at Flaget Memorial Hospital. He was born March 26, 1939, in Bardstown, retired from General Electric, U.S. Air Force Veteran, and a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gonza and Mary Fogle; two sisters, Margaret Ice, and Elizabeth Figg; and one brother, Jimmy Fogle.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Fogle of Bardstown; two sons, Leon Fogle and his wife Mindy, both of Bardstown, and Robbie Fogle and his wife Davisa, both of Elizabethtown; two sisters, Cecilia Newton of Bardstown and Jo Ann Mitchell of Mount Washington; four grandchildren, Ashley Fogle, Madison Fogle, Olivia Fogle, and Ian Fogle; and one great-grandson, Caleb Foster.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, March 18, 2013, at Barlow Funeral Home with cremation to follow. The Rev. Ben Brown will officiate.

Visitation is noon-6 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2013, and 9-11 a.m. Monday, March 18, 2013, at Barlow Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may go to The American Heart Association.
