Michael Hamilton ‘Mike’ Blandford, 65, Lebanon

Michael Hamilton “Mike” Blandford, 65, of Lebanon, died Friday, March 15, 2013, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. He was born Sept. 14, 1947, in Marion County. He was a retired employee of Louisville General Electric.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Hamilton and Dorothy Elizabeth Johnson Blandford; one brother, Richard Patrick Blandford Sr; and one sister, Violet Marie Bland.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Helm Blandford, of Lebanon; one daughter, Beth Ann Barnett and her husband Jeff, both of Burgin; two sons, Todd Blandford and his wife Rhonda, both of Bardstown, and Steven Blandford, of Lebanon; two sisters, Betty Moraja and her husband Dick, both of Lebanon, and Lucy Brown and her husband Coleman, both of Versailles; one sister-in-law, Kathy Blandford-Hawthorne, of Lebanon; two brothers, Everett Blandford and his wife Betty, both of Lebanon, and Danny Blandford and his wife Cathy, both of Lebanon; two grandchildren, Amanda Blandford and Matthew Blandford; and one stepgrandson, Craig Thompson,

A Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Lebanon with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2013, at Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon with a prayer service at 7 p.m. with Deacon Joe Dant.

Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon is in charge of arrangements.
